MaRS – offers venture services, funding, systems change, and facilities; MaRS venture clients get access to expert advice and mentorship, connections to customer, partner, and capital networks, and detailed market research and your industry

  • MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund – provides early assistance for science and tech start-ups that are looking for financial backing; entrepreneurs can receive up to $500,000 in a repayable business loan at an interest rate of prime plus one

Carleton University – Lead to Win program for entrepreneurs to create technology-based businesses in Ottawa region. Each new business must be designed to grow so it can employ at least 6 knowledge workers in the region over the next 3 years. Entrepreneurs get connected to strategic customers, revenue opportunities, individuals, companies and organizations that can provide requisite resources, including capital.

University of Ottawa- Startup Garage to provide space, computer lab, equipments including 3D printer, entrepreneurship and mentoring.
