OSPE’s Political Action Network (PAN) reached a milestone
in January celebrating its first anniversary. With 124 volunteers
participating PAN has become one of OSPE’s most effective
government advocacy initiatives...
Building on the success of last month’s engineering questionnaire
to candidates in recent provincial by-elections, OSPE is making
plans for October, when the province will go to the polls to
elect its next government...
In a recent submission to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs
and Housing (MMAH), OSPE identified a number of necessary modifications
to the government’s proposed amendments to legislation
relating to Brownfields reform announced on January 16...
In February the Federation of Canadian Municipalities announced
the closing of InfraGuide. InfraGuide was created in 2001 to
help solve the growing infrastructure deficit in Canada, estimated
in the amount of $60 billion.
Last month OSPE’s Chapter Liaison Committee held its first
orientation meeting with PEO Chapter representatives. Created
in September 2006, the Committee was developed to advance and
foster effective collaboration between OSPE, and PEO Chapters.
