Get ready for OSPE’s First Annual Golf Tournament – “The Pengy”

Spring is fast approaching and it's time to dust off your golf clubs and get ready for OSPE’s First Annual Golf Tournament – “The Pengy.” Recent surveys have told us that many of our members are golfers. With that knowledge in hand, we have organized a social networking opportunity for members at one of Ontario’s premier golf courses. The tournament will immediately follow the Society’s Annual General Meeting on Saturday May 29, 2004 at the Carlisle Golf and Country Club in Carlisle, Ontario, just 20 minutes north of Burlington.

Whether you are a pro like Mike Weir or a first-timer, this fun “best ball” event is all about enjoying an afternoon with fellow engineers. (“Best ball” allows for a speedier round by allowing each golfer to hit from the best shot at each hole.)

Tee-off is a three-way crossover start beginning at 12:45 p.m. If you are only attending the golf portion of the day, please be at the course by noon to check in and enjoy a bbq lunch. A light dinner reception with lots of terrific prizes will follow the tournament.

We encourage you to invite your colleagues, clients, employees or family members to join you for this day of fun on the links. Enter a foursome or feel free to register as a single and organizers will create a foursome for you.

Don’t have clubs? Rentals are available at the course. See directions and more about the Carlisle Golf and Country Club.

Registration closes on Monday May 24, 2004. You can register directly online or download a registration form and fax it to us at (416) 223-9963 or 1 866 763-1655. For more information, contact Elizabeth Armstrong at earmstrong@ospe.on.ca or by phone at (416) 223-9961 or 1 866 763-1654, ext. 225. Find out more and register now.
