With
the provincial election set to take place tomorrow, October 2, the
Ontario Society of Professional Engineers has a helpful resource
to provide engineers with the election information they need. Find
out about party platforms, the electoral process and more on our
members-only election web page at www.ospe.on.ca.
"With
issues such as water safety and hydro reliability front and centre
in this campaign, we wanted to provide every engineer across the
province with information to help them participate in the election,"
said Society President and Chair, Daniel J. Young, M.Eng. P.Eng.
Launched
immediately after the election call on September 2, the Society's
election web page is designed to provide engineers with a wealth
of key election information. See a listing of nominated candidates
in all 103 ridings, along with contact information for many local
campaigns. If you are uncertain of your riding, you can access the
Elections Ontario Riding Finder. Most important, we've provided
summaries of party platforms and the stance of each of Ontario's
three major party leaders on issues specifically related to engineers
and engineering.

access the Society's election web page, simply log in at www.ospe.on.ca.
You'll find information you can use to make your choice on October
2, 2003!
