Voting
Period: March 16 - April 16, 2009
Ballots and voting instructions will be sent to all Professional,
Associate-Resident, Intern and Honorary members in good
standing of OSPE on March 16th, 2009. The vote will be conducted
by direct mail and electronic ballot by a third-party independent
agency. The voting period will be from March 16th to April
16, 2009 and all ballots must be received no later than
April 16th.
Results of the election will be officially announced and
the new Board will take office at the OSPE
Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, May 5, 2009.
When you receive your election material, please take a few
moments to vote in this important election. It’s your profession.

Who may vote
All Professional, Associate-Resident, Intern and Honorary
members in good standing of OSPE are eligible to vote. The
vote will be conducted by direct mail and electronic ballot
by a third-party independent agency. All new Board members
will take office immediately following the OSPE Annual General
Meeting on May 5, 2009.
2009 Election forms and important information:
Voting Procedure:
An independent agency, Broadridge, has been engaged to issue,
collect and tabulate returned ballots and report on ballot
results. If you are eligible to vote, please refer to the
ballot you received in the mail for detailed instructions.

not receive a voting package in the mail, please contact

OSPE
elections are structured to ensure a turnover of 1/3 of
our Board members each year. For the 2009 election:
- Four
positions
are open as a result of the normal rotation.
If you are eligible to vote in the 2009 OSPE election, you
have two options:
Internet Voting Option:
- Locate
your control number listed in the printed voting package
you received in the mail from Broadridge.

Visit www.proxyvote.com
and enter your control number where indicated, then
follow the directions.

You may vote for up to four candidates, each for a three-year
term.
- Indicate
your voting decisions by checking the boxes of up to
four candidates. If you attempt to submit a vote with
more candidates selected in any term category than there
are positions open for that category, you will receive
an error message.

Any subsequent votes will be invalid.
Mail
Ballot Option:
- Refer
to the printed voting package you received from Broadridge.

You may vote for four candidates, each for a three-year
term.

Place a check mark in the box beside the name of each
candidate you wish to vote for. If you place a check
mark beside more candidate names than there are positions
open in any term category, your vote will be invalid.

Mail your marked ballot in the business reply envelope
provided. Do not mail your ballot to the OSPE
office.

If you have already voted using the Internet voting
option, your mailed ballot will be invalid.
Results of the election will be officially announced and
the new Board will take office at the OSPE
Annual General Meeting on Tuesday May 5, 2009.
