Hundreds of enthusiastic engineers packed a Toronto hotel
ballroom on May 11 for the Annual General Meeting
of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers. Attendees
listened to a presentation of the Society's 2001 financial
statements and addresses from outgoing Chair Robert A. Goodings,
P.Eng. and CEO Randall T. Pearce.
At a member luncheon following the meeting, the President
of the Ontario Bar Association, James O'Brien, spoke of his
profession's advocacy and licensing challenges and successes.
